Les Secrets d'Aix Les roulottes

There’s a lot of space and not many rooms, so it stays peaceful and you don’t feel surrounded by people. The setting is lovely, surrounded by nature, and everything was very clean. The pool is superb, with lots of room to relax. The pretty, fun gypsy caravan has the comforts you need for a romantic getaway or another kind of stay, though there isn’t enough room for clothes. We got a friendly welcome and the breakfast was decent. Worth a try. 👍👍😉

The garden is large and has a pool, so I imagine it must be lovely in summer. The caravan is really distinctive, but the rooms are small and having the shower and toilet together is inconvenient. It’s also quite remote, so you need a car to get there.

Our planned night in the gypsy caravan had to be cancelled because of lockdown. On the phone, the owner said he would hold onto my credit note and that I could book again later, but he didn’t put anything in writing. I haven’t received a refund, and for months I’ve tried to reach them by email, voicemail, and text to make a new reservation, with no response. The night cost €250. I’m very disappointed.

We had a beautiful suite with an outdoor jacuzzi 👌. Everything was lovely and just right. The garden and pool area were stunning.
