The magnificent view is a real strength, and the apartment was generally fine, but several issues got in the way of a comfortable stay. There were unpleasant smells, the bedding creaked and disturbed our sleep, and some items were broken, including the trash can lid and sofa armrest. Cleanliness could be better both inside and outside. The lighting was much too bright throughout, especially in the bathroom and bedrooms. There was still construction work going on in the building. The finish quality was disappointing, particularly given the location and the quality of some of the materials, which deserved more attention to detail. The place has potential thanks to its view and setting, but these problems need addressing for future guests.

We really didn’t want to leave! Everything was perfect, from the view and equipment to the comfort and location. Lucie even arranged our arrival time with a smile after we were delayed.

The sea views are magnificent, and the apartments have been recently renovated and were clean. There are lovely little bathing coves and hotspots right nearby, and the price was very good. A couple of things were poorly thought out: we had to buy washing machine tokens at another nearby hotel, and our apartment had nowhere to store suitcases or hang towels in the bathroom.

We stayed two nights with three people in a third-floor apartment, paying €490. The location right by the sea was exceptional, with a view of the Sanguinaires Islands, and the renovated residence was very well equipped. The receptionist was helpful and accommodating. But the cleaning had been very superficial before we arrived. The floor was especially dirty, and the outdoor table hadn’t been cleaned. There was also a terrible sewer smell in the bathroom that continued throughout our stay. We were told it’s a recurring issue in the residence. Renovation work was still going on, and that hadn’t been mentioned when we booked. For the price, that was disappointing.
