Ibis Styles Albi Centre Le Theatro

The location was lovely, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were super friendly. I took off a star because we're on day five of a six-night stay and the gym and sauna still haven't opened. One reason I chose the hotel was its fitness centre, so some concession for the unavailable facility would have been appreciated.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk, where they gave us information whenever we needed it. When something unexpected happened, they provided all the help we needed, and we truly appreciated that. Our clean, pleasant room had a beautiful view of Sainte-Cecile Cathedral of Albi. It wasn't very big, but the thoughtful design made good use of the space, with plenty of handy shelves. The bed and bedding were comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with hot and cold items, including vegetables, fruit, and freshly squeezed orange juice.

Being right in the theatre district, very close to Albi centre, made the location convenient. The room was OK but spartan, with only about 25 cm of space to hang clothes. Twice it hadn't been serviced by early afternoon. We told reception both times, and they took care of it once but left it unserviced the other time. Breakfast was continental, with scrambled eggs that varied in quality. The pastries and coffee machine were good, and fresh orange juice was available every day but one. There's no parking, but there's a public car park across the road for €17 per day.

We had a really big room with wonderful views over the square, and the toilet was big too. Breakfast was very good, with real fresh orange juice and soft, tasty pancakes. They had free popcorn at the lobby all day, and the staff were nice and professional.
