A lovely place at a great price. We slept really well, thanks to the comfortable bed and the large shuttered windows. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom was clean and roomy, with a lovely shower. The TV was a good size too.

The bed was very comfortable, and it was handy to have towels, linen, shower gel and shampoo provided. The heating and air conditioning were easy to use, and the check-in instructions were clear. The location was excellent.

The location near the ring road worked for my business trip, and the arrival instructions were fine. Inside, though, the poor upkeep and dirt were obvious straight away. The apartment was filthy and neglected: there was grime and mold around the shower, a torn duvet cover, stained walls, a broken bathroom mirror and a loose toilet seat. The mop was so covered in black dirt it needed replacing often, and there was just one sponge for cleaning the whole place. Even the door handles were barely attached. It wasn't acceptable to rent it in that state. I told the owner, who offered me another apartment of his. I was surprised to find it was the same place I'd rented for two nights in March, and it was in a similar condition. I turned it down because I'd cleaned that apartment myself. I travel often and have rented hotel rooms and places from private owners and companies. I'm also a cleaning trainer, and I still can't understand how anyone can rent out a place in such a state.

We stayed for one night. The place was small but acceptable for the price, around a 20-minute walk from the city center, with clear check-in instructions and free parking easy to find nearby. The apartment hadn't been cleaned at all. There was an old quiche in the fridge, and its smell had spread through the place. The bathroom was dirty, the towels smelled bad, a bulb was out and the trash hadn't been emptied. These things take hardly any effort. I sent photos to Régis to report it, but only got automated replies and no apology. Airbnb approved my refund after reviewing the photos. I hope Régis improves the cleaning and responds when guests contact him. He eventually replied on Airbnb, but didn't accept responsibility and called me a liar. That's why I'm posting here on Google map as well as reviewing on Airbnb. A host who won't take responsibility will never change their behavior.
