The week I spent there as a wooffer was calm and lovely. Edith took me on a stunning hike with her parents, who were visiting, and the work was peaceful too, bottling honey and picking blueberries. Vincent and Edith are incredible hosts, and the food and conversation were amazing.

The view is magnificent, and it’s a lovely place to recharge. We ate with Edith and Vincent, and everything was homemade. The room was welcoming and pleasant, and Edith and Vincent were accommodating about our arrival and departure times. Prices are reasonable for what’s offered, and I’d recommend it 1000 percent. Just be ready for the descent in the snow with luggage, especially if you have children or mobility issues. It’s a little haven of peace.

We left the guesthouse with real regret, though feeling refreshed and enriched by meeting Edith and Vincent. Their warm welcome and incredible availability made us feel so well looked after. The house they built sits in the heart of nature, with superb panoramic mountain views and two especially comfortable, peaceful guest rooms. We loved the delicious cooking, and will treasure the memories of their strong, wonderful personalities, their rich experiences, and the passions they share so simply and generously.
