6/10
The room had a double bed, a single bed, and a crib, and the night was cool but restful. Breakfast came with fresh homemade items, including jams. We found this beautiful farmhouse in a pretty village about 30 km from Boulogne-sur-Mer. Our host gave us a simple but pleasant welcome. The place could use an update, especially the bathroom, which needs renovating.

The cottage wasn't clean, which was disappointing. The exterior wasn't maintained, the cleaning was mediocre, there were cobwebs, and the bins hadn't been emptied. Breakfast was basic, and so were the evening meals. The welcome itself was friendly.

Martine was charming and welcoming, and her cooking was delicious. Her jams were excellent too. We had a lovely, very relaxing stay somewhere wonderfully quiet. We highly recommend it.

Martine runs a warm, authentic gîte, and she was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was generous, and the honey and jams were delicious. I came for the French FSGT cycling championships and was delighted to discover this charming place. I highly recommend the gîte. Don't change a thing, Martine!

The location is peaceful, with rolling hills that are ideal for walks, and the sea is only 25 minutes away. I had a very pleasant stay. The cottage has been renovated after a recent change of ownership.
