Brit Hotel Confort Alencon

The hotel has been completely refurbished, and it felt safe and welcoming in a quiet area. Our room was big, with comfortable beds, and breakfast was lovely. The lady at reception was lovely too, and there’s a good-sized car park outside. It’s just off the motorway and on the outskirts of Aleçon, which worked well for us. There’s also a petrol station a minute away with low prices. We’ve already booked to come back. Highly recommend.

We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good, definitely recommended. The hotel works well for a night while travelling, with clean, spacious rooms and the option to bring dogs. Breakfast was good if you got down early, but after 8am they didn’t replace much. Drinks were quite pricey.

The hotel restaurant is absolutely worth going to for dinner, I really recommend it. The ladies at the front desk were lovely, real treasures. I was there on a business trip, and the hotel, room and bathroom were all very clean and nice. A decent TV was provided, but it wasn’t smart, so there was no YouTube, Netflix or similar. The WiFi was fine overall. I did miss bathroom items like tissues and cotton buds.

The staff were amazing, and the newly refurbished room had everything we needed, including tea and coffee. It was great value for money. We had our dog with us, and there was an €11 charge. A huge supermarket and retail park are about a five-minute walk away. There are slow EV chargers, but I was told they cost €12 for the night, which seems a bit extreme when the nearest rapid charging is €0.30 per kWh.
