We had a really lovely stay. The beach is beautiful and right there, and there’s a good restaurant with friendly service. You can rent a sun lounger for half a day or the full day, order drinks to take down to it, then just remember to return the bottles and glasses to the friendly bar. Our rooms were updated and very clean, with good water pressure and temperature. They’re virtually soundproof, and there’s air conditioning if you need it. The service was friendly too. We’ll be back!

Algajola was such a cute little seaside village, with pretty houses, remains of a Genoese citadel, a pleasant marina, and a stunning beach. There are water sports nearby, too. We were travelling around Corsica for a week and spent two nights here. Our quiet room had a sea view, the beach sunbeds were included, and we loved the breakfast. Can’t wait to return!

Everything seemed fine right up to checkout. I’m sure I left a necklace with four pieces of jewelry, gold and rocks, on the night table. I called five times, and each time they said it wasn’t there, even though I was certain of the exact spot. That’s stealing. This shouldn’t happen at a three-star or higher hotel.

Algajola is a beautiful village and a convenient base for exploring Haute Corse. The beach is very good, and both the restaurant and bar are great. I also thought breakfast was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I strongly recommend this very nice hotel.
