ibis Styles Romans Valence Gare Tgv

We couldn't have been happier with this one-night stop, it was just what we needed. The room was simple and compact but clean, the bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the staff polite. We also ate at the restaurant, where the food was really tasty and the staff were very helpful. Matisse was especially kind and polite. We had forgotten the electric plug converter for our coolbox and needed ice, which Matisse kindly brought us. I highly recommend this hotel and its restaurant.

The room was freezing, and all they offered us was a couple of blankets. We're a family with children, and being left cold like that isn't acceptable.

There isn't anything else within walking distance, so having a restaurant and bar on site is handy. The hotel is very convenient for the TGV station, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and basic, and the price is good.

The terrace was nice, and the food and breakfast were okay. We stopped for one night while passing through. It's a typical ibis styles hotel and good value for money. Two things brought it down for me: the evening waiting staff could have been friendlier while closing up, and having just one toilet roll for a family room with four beds seems like a mistake.
