Chartreuse Le Logis La Montagne

We didn’t want to leave and will definitely come back for longer. The suite had all the comforts we could ask for, including fluffy towels, lovely toiletries, a huge comfortable bed and an enormous drench shower. Beach towels were there for the wonderful saltwater pool, too. Patrick and Cornelia were so hospitable and welcoming. Breakfast was probably the best we’ve ever had, and even with a very early start on departure day, they served us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee and tea. Since we were new to the area, they kindly booked us a table at a local restaurant when we arrived. The house and its stunning surroundings are breathtaking, in an idyllic, peaceful spot, and the property has been restored beautifully to a very high standard. We had an amazing weekend.

I was here for friends’ wedding, and the house and its setting made for a perfect celebration. The rooms were really clean and cosy, and the outdoor areas were lovely. And the pool! The wedding was wonderful.

We spent four nights at "Le Logis La Montagne" and enjoyed every minute. I’ve travelled far and wide, and this is a B&B I’d gladly recommend. The place is gorgeous, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. Patrick shared ideas for things to do, while Conny handled our dinner bookings. Our favourite restaurant was 'Le Lavoir' in Siorac-de-Ribérac. If you’re visiting the Périgord region, this is a superb place to stay, and you’ll have that settled feeling that you’ve found just the right spot.
