The little porch was my favourite spot, a lovely place to sit at any time of day and take in the surroundings. We got a last-minute booking in one of the ground chalets just before the season ended, and our group of three adults and two children fit comfortably in the two-bedroom place, with one adult using the sofa bed in the living area. It was clean and sensibly laid out, with a microwave, coffee pot, electric two-burner stove, cutlery, plates, and bowls. You do have to hire bed linen, though that wasn't a problem for us. You could bring your own, or perhaps sleeping bags. The man at the desk was helpful and gave us as much information as he could despite the language barrier. We'd gladly return.

It's quiet here, and the accommodation has enough amenities. But with the shutters open, the south-facing place got unbearably hot. Even running the fan, we couldn't get a breeze going. The pool where you can cool off is a 15-minute walk away at the neighbouring campsite, not on the property itself. And the hallway light is on a sensor that switches on in the middle of the night if a flying insect goes past. That was unbearable!

We came back as a family for a second stay in the stilted accommodation. The manager was very welcoming, and the place was clean, well equipped, and well situated. There wasn't a pool, but we were there in November to fish and pick mushrooms, and we had no complaints on that front. It was all perfect for a very affordable price, which may be why we thought everything was so perfect. 👍🏼
