Dinner under the village plane trees with local white wine was lovely. I stayed in a huge bedroom with beautiful old furniture, and cooled off with a dip in the pool. Breakfast started with homemade yoghurt and fruit salad, then fig confiture made by the hosts on my baguette. What’s not to like about this B&B in a village near Carcassonne?

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were pleasant, and the rooms were clean and bright. Can't ask for more.

Marie paid close attention to our comfort. The room was large, beautiful, and very well equipped, in a magnificent manor house. It was comfortable and quiet despite the village road. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and high quality. The pool and area around it were really lovely, and there’s a restaurant nearby.

The owners gave us a very warm welcome, and we’ll definitely return. At La Vernassonne, our room was spacious, practical, and tastefully decorated, with high-quality bedding. Breakfast was generous and refined, and we had a wonderful stay.

After a day of cycling, the wonderful pool was just right. Our hostess Marie was delightful, and Thémis, the little Cavalier King Charles, was adorable. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and breakfast was generous. A perfect stay!
