Le Clos Ambels

The cottage is roomy, the beds are very comfortable, and the view is magnificent. We also really enjoyed getting a feel for life as a farmer, breeder, and producer. Nicolas knows a lot and put us at ease while showing us the farm's daily work, especially milking the goats. There are lots of different activities on offer. Thank you to Nicolas and his family for being so welcoming, caring, and kind.

Nicolas is clearly passionate about his farm, and we enjoyed a very generous, delicious meal, served with simple elegance. Much of the food came from the garden, including tomatoes, lettuce, and zucchini, and the meat was raised on the property. Breakfast had both savory and sweet choices, with homemade jams. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a private bathroom. A simple but beautiful setting, with impeccable service and a warm welcome. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Our two-year-old daughter loved being among the animals and out in nature. We were welcomed so warmly, and slept very well in the comfortable room with its good bed. We'll be back soon to see the baby goats!

We shared a delicious meal with the owners, made with excellent products from the farm, and really enjoyed their company. It had that genuine bed and breakfast feel, and we left with a lovely sense of friendship. If you like things simple and unpretentious and enjoy meeting good people, stay here.
