It's calm here, and you can walk to the main attractions in Amboise. If walking is difficult for you, request a room near the entrance or parking, and ask for the small cart to bring your luggage from the car. Some rooms are roomier than others, #306 for instance. We ate around two tables inside, with room for 10 people. The beds are comfortable, heating is excellent and the shower is good. The room has a dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, and a decent-sized fridge. Bring coffee filters and your own towels. Remember your swimsuits, the official French piscine kind. When we visited, we could charge our electric vehicles for free in the Chenonceau chateau parking lot while visiting.
