The owner was so kind and attentive, and breakfast was the standout: tasty, generous, and priced just as nicely. The place is simple, more like a homestay, but it’s very good value. There’s gated private parking, and everything was clean and neat. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, and the basics. The bathroom and toilet are shared, though with only two rooms it wasn’t an issue as long as everyone is considerate. I’d have liked a few more hangers for clothes and towels. One small thing: I know it’s common in accommodations, but I’d prefer the pillow to be covered by the freshly washed sheet rather than the bedspread, which isn’t washed as often and could have been used in any way by previous guests.

The manager said the holiday starts here, and we really did settle in happily. The rooms were spotless, the service was friendly, and breakfast was a real treat. Such a lovely stop on our trip from Vendée to Spain.

The view was magnificent, like peaks on a Pyrenees cake. We also loved the spacious, welcoming rooms, and our hosts gave us a warm welcome that evening. Breakfast rounded things off nicely.

The room had great air conditioning, and I was able to fall asleep quickly. That “small” breakfast keeps you going until 7 p.m., even after a hike. The only downside to spending a week here is that you want to come straight back.

We spent five weeks in complete peace, with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees. The welcome was fantastic, and the hosts were incredibly attentive. There was a cuddly dog and a clingy cat around too, if you wanted their company. The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom were spotless, and the price for this guesthouse was unbeatable. Parking was available.
