Les Chaumières de Fleuriac

My wife and I spent a few weeks here in September and had a fabulous time. It's very clean and well placed for exploring the Morbihan region.

Sabrina and her husband were welcoming yet discreet, and the cottage was spotless and well equipped when we arrived. La Chaumie de Fleuriac is tucked into nature but still close to shops, making it a peaceful base for exploring the Gulf of Morbihan and the surrounding countryside. Thanks again for such a lovely stay.

We felt warmly welcomed by the hosts. It's a superb place to unwind, surrounded by nature but still close to the beach, shops, and everything else. Highly recommended.

La Baie is a charming cottage with a nice private terrace. It was especially pleasant because the neighboring cottage was empty during our stay. The large pool is well kept and enjoyable, though exposed to wind, which didn't bother us in the intense heat. The place is well positioned for exploring the region, but it's fairly close to a busy road, which takes away some of the quiet. A neighboring farm also means quite a lot of flies, likely made worse by the heat. We had to keep doors and windows shut and skip some outdoor meals. The owner was welcoming and available, though her husband seemed less at ease with guests and rather bluntly told us to speak to her directly. Inside, the furniture showed wear, including a wobbly table and a worn shower head. We had to rewash some dishes, something unfortunately quite common in this kind of rental. Wi-Fi usually worked, but depended on a router in another cottage, and we had to ask several times for a restart because the connection kept dropping. Charming and pleasant in some ways, but there are several things to improve for a more comfortable and peaceful stay.
