ibis Styles Amiens Centre

Breakfast had lots of tasty options, and the location made getting around easy. The room was bright and stylish, and I slept really well in the comfortable bed. The staff made me feel welcome straight away and were super friendly. Great value, and I’d happily stay at ibis Styles again.

The hotel worked especially well for us with a disability scooter. Access from the car park to reception was easy, and there’s no step at the front entrance. It’s the best hotel we’ve stayed in for disability access. Parking was useful and straightforward, including the lift up to reception. The station is about two minutes away, and we were also just a short walk from the October Rederie Market. We had a family room with plenty of space, a fabulous bathroom, a good shower, and a very comfy bed. One small issue: the toilet has no hand basin, so you have to leave it and go into the separate bathroom. A basin in there would help, or the toilet could be part of the main bathroom. The decor takes a little getting used to, but it works, and the green is relaxing. Breakfast was very good, with breads, croissants, crepes, pain au chocolate, fruit juices, cheeses and meats. I like a French hotel to serve a French style breakfast, and this one did. We didn’t eat in the restaurant at night, so can’t comment on the food, though the bar staff were great and drinks were good value. We liked the feel of the bar and restaurant, but couldn’t understand why the restaurant was closed on Sunday. Check-in was easy and the staff were very helpful.

We’ve returned several times because the stay has been consistently good. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, breakfast is just right, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s centrally placed in Amiens, near the Cathedral, shops, bars and easy to reach from the major roads through France. There’s secure parking on site too. We’ll be back.

A new, very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were really kind, and it’s close to both the train station and the city center.
