We stayed in a lovely apartment near the waterfront. It was spacious and clean, with kitchen appliances provided. The hosts were very responsive when we called several times before and during our stay.

The apartment was huge, clean, and comfortable, and the location is hard to beat, right in central Lyon with restaurants, a pharmacy, and the metro nearby. It felt perfect for a couple, and I loved staying there. Just be prepared for the stairs: there’s no elevator, so carrying luggage up could be tough if you’re not very strong. Highly recommend it!

The apartment was nice and the location excellent. A few maintenance problems got in the way: the fridge door wouldn’t stay shut, the shutters couldn’t be operated, and the shower control was stuck and very hard to use for setting the water temperature. The entrance to the building also looked shabby and a bit intimidating.
