Four months here, and the internet still hasn’t been installed. The dripping tap hasn’t been fixed either. I can’t wait to move out!

A quiet night is easy here, with the residence looking out onto two residential streets and a canal. Shops and supermarkets are very close by, and the rooms have an en-suite bathroom plus a fridge, microwave, kettle, two electric burners, and pots and pans. For the very competitive price, it’s a great option right in central Amiens. Arriving by car is the awkward part. Rue Pingre, where the main entrance is, can be hard to find, and parking there is prohibited. It’s the narrow road that slopes down after the Church of St. Germain. There is paid parking nearby, but watch the signs around the belfry on Saturday mornings because of the market, or your car could be towed.

Repairs take too long, and residents aren’t told when technicians are due to arrive. The manager often ignores emails about problems and falls short on both communication and service. Even after extensive renovation, the new apartments still have issues like leaks and missing equipment. Prices are far too high for what’s provided, especially compared with other student residences in Amiens. Unfortunately, the place is poorly managed and doesn’t provide students with a suitable living environment.

If you’ve got too much money and fancy a prison-like place where weekend sleep-ins are apparently a waste of time, this is for you! I’m a resident’s friend and visit him often. Work started at 8 on Saturday, and it’s been happening for a year, sometimes even Sundays. All that work just to repaint and make the place look like a prison is terrible. The rent is exorbitant for these mediocre apartments. The hood doesn’t work, the mattress has a huge dip in the middle, two of the three doors won’t shut properly, the toilet leaks, and the walls are cracked. And you can hear the neighbors at all hours. How can a small apartment have so many problems? Management either denies it all or just doesn’t care. A great experience, highly recommended to everyone!!!!
