The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, and I loved my room. I stayed during a cool season, so the lack of air conditioning wasn't an issue, though I might think twice about coming in warmer months. They do provide fans. I also really liked that my room had a separate bathroom with a tub and rainfall shower head. I prefer that to the open showers I kept seeing in other hotels, right beside the bed. The location worked well for me because I didn't want to stay in the city.

Joanna at the front desk made a real difference to my stay. She welcomed me warmly, got me checked in without a hitch, and answered my questions with a smile. Her local restaurant tips were spot on, and she stayed attentive throughout my visit. The room at Best Western Plus was cozy, clean, and had what I needed. The hotel is also conveniently placed for getting to attractions and restaurants. I'd happily return, and Joanna is a big reason why.

I received a fraudulent WhatsApp message, as did several other travellers, claiming a payment to Booking.com hadn't gone through. The sender had my full name, email, phone number, reservation number, and dates. I can only hope the hotel didn't store my credit card number too. When I raised this with hotel staff, they didn't seem to grasp how serious it was and blamed Booking.com. At best, that was reckless. I'd avoid staying here if you don't want to share personal data.

Joanna Landais made a great impression at reception. She welcomed me with a warm smile, then checked me in quickly and professionally. She also took the time to explain the details I needed for my stay, including breakfast hours and the amenities.

Joanna made check-in a lovely experience. She answered all our questions with a smile and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. Her positive attitude made a great first impression and set us up for a fantastic stay.
