The room was roomy and had everything I needed: plugs, towels, a hairdryer, wardrobe, desk and TV. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. Breakfast was a cozy buffet with plenty of familiar options and no limit on what you could take. The dining room is small and quiet, though that might have been the time I went. I spent about two nights and three days here on a solo trip to nantes, and Hotel Duquesne made the holiday much more memorable. It's easy to find and close to lots of services and places to eat. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, even with my limited French. They upgraded me from a single to a double at no charge, gave me hot chocolate on the first day, and let me store my bag safely before the room was ready. Maybe the hot chocolate was because I was nodding off in the waiting room 😅. Such a good stay and great value for the price. I'd come back for longer. Merci to everyone at the hotel for making my trip so lovely ♡!

The room itself was okay, but it wasn't even in the same building. I had to walk 100m down the street to get breakfast. The sign on the hotel door said reception wouldn't open until 5pm, and that cost me four hours.

The hotel was in a great spot, just a 15-minute walk from the artworks we wanted to see at Place Graslin. We only had a night and a morning to explore the "Voyages a Nantes" outdoor art festival, and found the hotel recommended on the city website in French. I called, and the woman I spoke with was kind and arranged parking right in front for only 8 euros overnight. The room was spotless and the shower was a treat. Breakfast had a good variety, tasted great, and included local products. Wonderful hotel for such a cheap price. I warmly recommend it!

The shower was good and came with bath gel. Rooms are on the small side, but the design looks elegant. The only issue was the lack of air conditioning in summer, though it was manageable. Good value for money.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and the hotel was clean, pleasant and reasonably priced. It's right in central Nantes, close to most of the city's attractions. I'd absolutely recommend it. 👌🏻
