Hotel Belvedere

The breakfast buffet had lots to choose from, including yogurt, cereal, fresh croissants, pain au chocolat, bread, ham and cheese. The coffee was nice and strong. Our host also suggested ordering Japanese takeout from a local place, then set a table for us on the hotel terrace so we could enjoy dinner there. There aren’t restaurants within walking distance, since it’s in a small town. This family-friendly budget hotel is a delightful find, not far from Montgaris. The rooms have an older, antique-vintage look and comfortable beds with bathrooms. Service was welcoming and very accommodating, with French and English spoken. Don’t be put off by the location or the plain, older appearance. For the price, it’s wonderful. I highly recommend it for the service and breakfast, and will return when I’m passing through.
