Phil and Jude made us feel very welcome, and their suggestion for dinner in the village worked out really well. Phil booked it for us. The place was a little rustic, but the table linen was lovely, the food was good value, and it was an easy walk away. We only stayed one night on our way home from Calais. La Basse Cour has spotless, tastefully decorated rooms and a well-equipped bathroom with a superb large shower. The house sits among several acres of garden beside a beautiful lake. Breakfast was just what we needed, with plenty of tea or coffee. A superb stay and very good value.

It's clear a lot of work has gone into making this a lovely place to stay. The B&B is in a beautiful, peaceful location, and the hosts are friendly and very helpful. I'd gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet B&B.

The owners are friendly and helpful, and there's safe parking for the car. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, while the house and grounds are beautiful, with a lake of its own and ducks. It's less than 10 minutes from the autoroute. A great place to stay, and I can't think how it could be improved.

I ended up setting aside my own itinerary and going with Jude and Phil's suggestions instead. They have loads of information about places to visit and things to do. What a peaceful escape. Jude and Phil have clearly put a lot into making this an idyllic stop, and I can't think of anything that would make it better.
