The mill dates back to the 12th century, and the place has a strong historical and artistic feel. There’s a theater on the hill with an interesting concert season, and meals are served here. The rooms are clean and spacious. It feels informal and family-run, and there are two goats and a pig. It’s also a retreat for cinematographers and musicians.

The property was amazing, and the food was great. We had a lovely couple of days here for an academic workshop, and the staff were lovely too.

The owners made us feel welcome and were very friendly. Our room was quaint, with all the amenities and a really comfortable bed. It’s a stunning location, and you can freely explore the features of the old mill.

The owner was really friendly, and the place is absolutely beautiful. It has a rich history and a great atmosphere for getting lost in your thoughts, whether about work or life. Thanks for giving me some lovely memories.

We went to see the gardens while they were open to the public over the weekend. Such a delightful place, with lovely old buildings and lots of interesting sculptures.
