B&B Les Mésanges de l'Ill

We only had one night here, which was a shame. The room was spacious, clean, and in a quiet village just outside Colmar. The owner met us outside the building and offered ideas for places to eat and visit, with brochures in Italian as well. Breakfast was served at our requested time on the terrace in front of the room, and it was generous and delicious, made with local organic products. The welcome, hospitality, and attention to detail were all second to none. We felt at home, and everything was perfect.

The pool behind the house was lovely and peaceful, with greenery all around, and there was parking right outside. Joel gave us a very warm welcome and a great introduction to the accommodation. Every room was impeccably clean, and he recommended nearby restaurants and even made reservations for us. In the morning, breakfast was waiting, with wonderful local products, some grown on the property. Thank you for having us as your guests. You and your accommodation deserve 10 stars! Breakfast was the highlight. The kind, attentive French gentleman brought a fantastic spread to our room: fruit, yogurt, bread, croissants, jam, butter, honey, coffee, orange juice, milk, cereal, and granola. About 90% of it was organic; the honey came from his own bees, and he makes the jam himself. The bed was excellent, and both the room and bathroom were spotless and very well kept. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I’d definitely return.

The hosts were very pleasant, and the room or suite was comfortable.
