Auberge de la Tuilerie

Peace and countryside are what make this place so appealing to us. After our first two stays at Auberge de la Tuilerie, we started coming back every year. It's set among the fields of Burgundy, in a lovely traditional building that fits the local style. The carefully decorated rooms suit the atmosphere, and when we're not out exploring the region, we can relax in the big garden or by the pool. The host grows her own vegetables, fruit and herbs. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys a quiet rural setting.

We came back for a second stay and will be back again next year. The evenings are especially lovely, with an amazing view, and Lee's dinners were really good. Lee is a great host and cook, and we found the Auberge relaxing with good facilities. Thanks again, Lee!

Breakfast each day and a tasty dinner in the evening made our stay especially enjoyable. Lee was friendly and knew the area well. Our room was spotless, and the pool was just right for a swim. We had a wonderful time and wanted for nothing.

The quiet here was complete, and the views across the countryside were spectacular, with no cars, trucks, planes or power lines in sight. Our large room was beautifully decorated, and the breakfasts were delicious. Lee also gave us great suggestions for nearby villages and historic sites. One evening we had a scrumptious duck dinner with salads picked straight from her organic vegetable garden. After wine tasting and sightseeing, the pool was a perfect spot to cool down. We spent three days at this charming inn and will definitely return soon.
