The kitchen had what we needed to make simple meals or eat takeaway, and the bedrooms, sheets, and towels were clean. Staff usually replied quickly. There was a language barrier since we speak English but not French, though we managed, and the Edgar team tried to help with the apartment problems. We stayed eight nights in April 2025. The flat is very well placed, with the Metro, groceries, attractions, and cafés a short walk away. But it looked around 30-40% worse than the photos: much darker and older than the bright, airy impression online. We didn't get that happy first impression we'd booked it for. We mainly chose it because it had two bathrooms. One smelled awful when we arrived, and the odor spread into the kitchen and living room. Edgar Suites tried to address it, but leaving the bathroom window open for the whole stay only reduced the smell. We were told it was a feature of the apartment pipes, there wasn't much they could do, and usually the other bathroom had the smell. That wasn't ideal, and the website hadn't mentioned it. The WiFi was really bad. In the main bedroom there was no connection, and elsewhere it kept dropping. Bring plenty of data on your own SIM. Dust also built up in a thick layer on every surface within a couple of days, even though we only opened the windows a little. Not good if you have a dust allergy.
