La Folie de Labahou

The food was really nice, though things felt a bit chaotic and there seemed to be too few staff. We had some long waits, but the food itself was still very good.

A creative chef, delicious food, and excellent service.

We sat on the terrace, which is decorated with real taste and looks out over the pool. The dishes were delicious and cooked just right. I’d recommend the white sangria, it’s smooth and full of flavor.

We’ve been here five times now, my partner and I, and still haven’t found anything to complain about. The owner is so kind and always gives us helpful wine advice. We love this place. The meals feel worthy of fine dining, but the atmosphere and service keep that balance between a family-run spot and a gourmet experience. It’s a lovely evening in our little hidden corner of the Cévennes. The prices do count, of course, but they feel just as worthwhile as at a high-end restaurant with small portions and a very reserved atmosphere, even in a more upscale area. Honestly, I can’t think of anything to criticize. If you get the chance, don’t miss it, you won’t regret it.
