Les Jardins d'Ulysse, The Originals Relais

The bed took up so much room that the bathroom door wouldn’t open all the way, though the room itself was a decent size. And bring bags you can carry: the stones in the parking area make them impossible to roll, and there’s no lift. We’d expected someone to welcome us, based on the listing, which said reception was covered from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. But nobody was there when we arrived or left, apart from other guests. After an 800 km drive to an area we’d never visited, we reached the place at 7:04 p.m. and found a note on the door telling us where the key was. There was no information in the room about places to eat. I called the number on the note and was told the host had to drive guests to Le Touquet. Glad someone got dinner that night, because we didn’t. We left at 7:30 the next morning to find breakfast, and still no one was around. The European adapter didn’t fit the sockets, so I couldn’t use my C-pap machine, which I’m supposed to use every night.
