Appart'City Confort Angers

We paid €135 for the booking and were asked for a €250 deposit, which is more than horrible. We left without getting the money back and are still waiting. They don't return it straight away. If it hasn't arrived by Wednesday, which is the normal expectation, I'll take action. This was my worst hotel experience. If you need that extra €250 for a hotel deposit while travelling, don't book here. I'll update once I know how long the refund took.

There's free street parking between 8 PM and 9 AM, and a supermarket just a minute away on foot. The apartment hotel was clean and nice, with a fully equipped kitchen.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and breakfast was good. In the lobby there were treats, coffee, and a cold water dispenser. It's next to a supermarket and close to the tram. My room at Appart City was simple, without decoration, and laid out like a small integrated apartment, with a large bathroom, towels, hand and body soap, a small kitchen, and a sleeping area.

There's a store right next door, which is useful since you're responsible for supplies after the initial amenities. The setup feels more like an ordinary air b&b than a traditional American hotel, and also seems like an apartment. For the cost and quality together, it works very well, and I'd definitely stay again.
