There was no air conditioning, and half the rooms are right beside the railway. You can hear trains going past as well as SNCF announcements. We asked to move, but were told there were no other rooms available. That was hard to believe in Angers, and I could still see rooms listed on other booking sites.

The hospitality was very friendly, and it's otherwise a very nice place, with private garage parking for an extra charge. But in hot weather the temperatures get out of control in the rooms. For a brand new hotel, it's unbelievable they chose not to install climate control. With that, I would have given it four or maybe five stars.

The railway nearby made some noise even while we were trying to sleep. Still, the hotel was very nice, clean, and modern, and breakfast was good and delicious.

We got a warm welcome, and the staff helped with directions and recommendations. The apartments were well equipped, and the location was convenient. The breakfast buffet was generous, with plenty of healthy options.

From the hotel, Angers St Laud Station is right next door. Downtown and Chateau D'Angers are both within walking distance.
