We had a premium room meant for three, facing the castle, though there were only two of us. It suited us just right. What really stood out was how kind and professional everyone was, from the lovely welcome from Sammy to the delightful Pierre Louis and Christophe. This wasn't our usual kind of hotel, but we needed air conditioning and somewhere within walking distance of the center. That can be hard to find in Angers. Angers is fantastic, stay here.

The hotel staff, especially samy, made me feel really welcome in Angers. The rooms are lovely, and I liked the hotel bar and breakfast too. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in Angers.

We really enjoyed our stay. There were five of us in two rooms, and both were clean and comfortable. The staff were great, very friendly, and helped us check which places were open during the off-season, when some attractions aren't available. The location made getting around easy. We walked to and from the train station, with a car rental trip the next day. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and both the fortress and medieval old town are right there. Breakfast was great as well.

It was hard to leave this hotel, we wished we could have stayed longer. We had a spacious, spotless triple room looking out toward the historic Chateau d'Anjou and the promenade through double windows. The bathroom was bright and easily the biggest we'd seen during our weeks in France. We could open the wide windows, then shut them for a quiet, cool room thanks to the double glazing, thick outer doors, and efficient air conditioning. The manager and the team at reception, coffee shop, and bar were friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient across the street in a public paid lot. There's a small luggage lift and a secure side entrance guests can use from the street. We'd happily recommend the hotel.
