We’ve stayed at this hotel for our Pyrenees cycling tour five times now, and we’re just as happy with it as we were on our first tour 10 years ago. There are solutions for cyclists, and parking is included. The location is ideal if you want peace and great views. It’s about a half-hour walk to St Jean on a pretty path.

The walk to the local point overlooking the bay and the city was probably my favorite part. The place felt like southern California.

The gardens are large, and the spot sits above town, about a 15-minute walk away along a pleasant route. The staff and service were excellent, and the food and bar were very good. My room could use some updating and wasn’t well stocked with things like coffee, milk and conditioner.

The setting is wonderfully quiet, yet close to the beach and boardwalk. I loved the room, restaurant, pool, and massage, and every staff member was kind and attentive from arrival through checkout. I’d happily recommend La Reserve.

We ate at the hotel restaurant on both evenings, and the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and paired with excellent wine suggestions. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and the staff made the stay feel easy with friendly, impeccable service. A delightful visit to La Reserve, Saint Jean de Luz. Thank you!
