Novotel Angers Centre Gare

The hotel is new and clean, and service from both the front desk and housekeeping was very good. We picked it for its major brand and high Angers ratings, and the city view from our executive room was there as promised. The room itself was clean but a bit small and awkwardly shaped. It had a Nespresso machine, though actual cups and glasses would have been a nice touch instead of paper ones. Being right by the train station made it loud at night, with trains, buses, and some rather sketchy, noisy people around. Still, it’s under a 10-minute walk to the Chateau d'Angers and ideal if you arrive by train. Good value overall.

The staff made us feel looked after from the minute we arrived, and they went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the city and getting to all the services we needed.

The staff were lovely and helpful throughout, and everyone I spoke with helped make my stay in Angers pleasant. A special shout-out to Noèmie, who really went above and beyond. The building is easy to spot, and it’s right by the FlixBus station. Everything is about a 10-minute walk away.

The staff were what made our fantastic stay memorable. From check-in through check-out, everyone was welcoming, kind, and genuinely helpful, and they made us feel at home.
