The outdoor tables are especially lovely in summer, surrounded by green lawns, colorful flowers, and plenty of shade from old trees. Inside dining is available too, but I’d pick outside whenever the weather allows. There are several set menus, from three courses to a full five-course gourmet meal, so you can choose to suit your appetite or budget. The wine list is spectacular and well worth exploring, and the service is splendid. A great spot for a fine dinner or a special occasion.

We had a lovely meal outdoors in summer, and the menu felt like very good value for the quality. There’s a nice range of fish and meat dishes, and vegetarians can be accommodated if you call ahead and book. Really good food at a very reasonable price.

The set menu made for a memorable dinner, with the food standing out for all the right reasons. We also got welcome little surprises before the starters and after dessert. Service was great.

One of the meats wasn’t what had been ordered, and the server didn’t catch that it wasn’t a filé. Three of us ended up eating while the fourth person sat waiting. No compensation was offered. It was a nice Sunday lunch otherwise, and I’d normally have rated it higher.

The setting is stunning, and the place itself is gorgeous. We had sumptuous food and top-notch service. A must, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly!
