The lobby has a fun feel, and the staff were wonderful. The evening bartender especially stood out, making the best cocktails.

The restaurant was good, and the check-in staff were lovely, but the room arrangements left me underwhelmed. We were first put in an old room with a broken air conditioner. Why not give us the nice renovated room from the start? We also saw staff check in a couple for the same day after telling our friend the hotel was sold out. That couple got a renovated third-floor room, while our friend, who had booked ahead, got an older room on the second floor. The way this hotel prioritizes guests didn’t sit well with me.

Our family room for four felt cramped, with too little storage and not enough wardrobe space, and the bathtub seemed dated. Still, the hotel was a great base for exploring the area. The heated pool was superb, breakfast pleasant, and there was adequate parking. Everyone we met, from reception onward, was helpful and professional.

Our little terrace was tucked behind bushes and wonderfully peaceful. The location works well if you’re attending an event at the hotel or nearby, though it’s neither by the ocean nor in the center. Breakfast was amazing, and the service was absolutely stellar. They made us feel like VIP.

At 7:30 AM, the hotel’s truck loading was so loud it woke our whole family. We mentioned it at checkout, and the manager simply said we should have called reception. By then we were already awake, so what would calling have changed?
