The food was stunning, and everyone in our group said it was the best meal and dining experience they'd ever had. We were lucky to have the private room: first courses by the fire, then the rest at a lovely table looking out over Annecy. The staff were warm, funny, and went out of their way to make our birthday dinner feel special. Thank you all for such a memorable evening.

The restaurant was the highlight for us. It focuses on locally sourced products, and the chef turns seasonal ingredients into creative, beautiful dishes. Our dinner was so carefully made, with so much detail and passion, that it's hard to put into words. We chose a half alcoholic, half non-alcoholic pairing and would recommend it. Service was outstanding, with professional staff who really knew their stuff. The hotel is tucked into Annecy's old quarter, away from the busy tourist centre. It's peaceful, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The staff are friendly, breakfast was amazing, and we had a fire in our room that added to the romantic feel. A luxurious getaway.

The service was the one bright spot. The food lacked flavor, and I was surprised by how simple the ingredients were. At one point, we wondered if the whole experience was some kind of chef's joke.

We couldn't have asked for a better way to finish our week in the Annecy area. Friends from NYC recommended the restaurant, and it impressed us more than we expected. We've eaten at Michelin restaurants around the world, and Clos Des Sens absolutely deserves its 3 stars.
