The scrambled eggs at breakfast were the best I've ever had. This is a standard Ibis, with slightly small rooms but comfortable beds and all the amenities, including an espresso machine. The location is great too, within walking distance of everything around town.
We booked two rooms for our family of four, and both were clean, well arranged, and comfortable. The staff were a real highlight, friendly, professional, and always ready with practical help. The hotel sits right at the entrance to the old city, so it's easy to get around on foot, and the underground parking is very convenient. Everything made for a comfortable family vacation. Highly recommended for a visit to Annecy.
The breakfast buffet was wonderful, and they gave us a map for exploring Old Town. We were warmly welcomed and checked in easily. It's just a five-minute walk from the train station, a perfect location. Highly recommend!
It's a basic hotel that does the job, but a newly installed alarm went off at 04:55am and forced everyone to evacuate. People came out of their rooms and went down to reception, but staff gave little or no explanation. We had our 4 year old with us, and the loud alarm left them very upset and scared.
Being so close to Old Town was great. We could pop over to restaurants and walk to the water quickly. We stayed three nights and enjoyed it overall. Staff helped with check-in, luggage storage, and directions, and the room was quiet and clean. The room was small, though, and the shower didn't work very well. Cleaning was good and only happened when we requested it. We were disappointed that there were no beach towels or rain umbrellas to borrow, but we'd return.
