The food was the highlight, absolutely fabulous, and everything else felt just right too. Rooms are small, but they’ve been renovated recently. The wines are a great selection, and the price is really reasonable for what you get. If I’d known, I would’ve driven the extra 100km the day before to get here sooner. We had a blast, congrats!

Loved the coq au vin and breakfast, and the bar terrace looks out over the main square and wooded valley. The beds were comfortable, too. It’s a wonderfully old-school family-run hotel, with heaps of character in the decor of this former pub, including stained glass in the restaurant and living room. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier.

A pretty average stay, but about what you’d expect from a two-star hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean enough, though the bathrooms were small despite being recently renovated. They have bicycle storage.

A comfortable hotel for hikers, nicely placed in the Morvan near some lovely trails. There was no Wi-Fi, no 4G in our room, and no TV. That didn’t bother us, since we were there to enjoy the nature and hiking in this beautiful area.
