I’m still waiting for evidence of the charges taken from my deposit for 2022, 2023 and 2024. When the contract ended, they charged fees going back three years but never supplied proof, despite several requests. Half my deposit was kept, and I wasn’t warned in advance, which made it hard to plan my expenses. They communicate clearly about the yearly rent increase, but don’t answer when asked to explain old, unfamiliar charges. The initial move-in inspection recommended improving the apartment’s insulation, but nothing was done. The winters were very cold, and I had to use extra heating, sending the energy bill above €150 a month. During the tenancy, the old fridge and freezer leaked water and damaged the floor. They were replaced with smaller, lower-quality appliances, which didn’t meet the contract’s requirement to maintain the apartment as it was and affected my living conditions. I hope this gives future tenants an idea of what to expect from the agency.
