Amiral Courbet Apartment

We had a pleasant stay, with a very friendly welcome, and our room had a deck with a pretty good view. One guy speaks excellent English, and the others try and do pretty well. The bedding and towels smelled stale. I asked them not to change them, which seemed to confuse them because they wondered why I wouldn't want clean towels. After a week of airing out the room and leaving the bedding alone, it smelled much better. The shower is handheld, so you have to wash with one hand or take a bath. The bath itself was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is yogurt, croissants, bread, and coffee or tea for 9€. There are refrigerators in the rooms, so I went to the grocery across the street. We also got friendly with one of the pastry shop owners. Yum! There's lots to do around there.

The owners and staff were absolutely lovely, and the service was exceptional. The hotel is right on the beach, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There’s also a place to party about 500 metres away if that’s your thing. Beautiful spot, and we’d happily recommend it.

We slept well because it was generally quiet, though the doors could use better soundproofing. The rooms were good, the staff friendly, and breakfast was good too. The location is great.

For a three-star place, it’s clean and very good value. The owners are welcoming and helpful, and the rooms feel fresh, with air conditioning and a modern look. WiFi worked well too. The location couldn’t be better.
