We had a great week here, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and clean. The location is brilliant: about 10 minutes to the beach promenade and a beautiful coastal walk of roughly 25 minutes to old Antibes. The station is nearby too, handy for trips to Cannes and Nice.
Being so close to the beach is a real plus, but that’s about where the good bits stop. The hotel feels dated, the rooms are only somewhat clean, and the soundproofing is poor enough that you hear everything. WiFi is painfully slow, and breakfast is just there. You’re paying four-star prices for a two-star sort of stay. Fine if location is your main concern, not so good if you want comfort.
The staff really made the stay for me. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and Christian and Veronique from the Front Office stood out for their kindness, professionalism, and competence. The hotel is also well placed, about a five-minute walk from the beach and close to the charming Old Town and Antibes, which worked well for sightseeing or just relaxing. I enjoyed the spacious, well-equipped rooms and modern design, plus the delicious breakfast with lots of choice. The fitness center and sauna were great, and the outdoor pool was spacious, beautifully maintained, and lovely for sunbathing. AC Hotel Ambassadeur Juan-les-Pins was a great fit for a holiday or business trip. I’ll gladly return.
The pool was super, and we really liked the rooms too. It’s a great place to stay in Juan les Pins, with a fabulous hotel and staff who were genuinely nice and helpful. Highly recommended!
We paid more for two nights here than we had for a five-star hotel in Paris the month before, and that Paris stay really was five-star. This place calls itself four-star, but I’d rate it two at most. The rooms were in horrible condition, with dust in the corners, and basic amenities were missing. Even the shower gel had run out. Breakfast felt like a rip-off: we paid extra, then still had to pay for basics like a freshly cooked omelet. For 20 euro, it covered only old, untasty croissants and no freshly cooked food. The message posted at the entrance to the breakfast room was the cherry on top, so cheap and unprofessional. I’ll never recommend this hotel or come back.
