Le Pavillon Du Golf D'Arras

We’d told the hotel we’d be arriving late in the evening with our young children after a long journey. They knew we were coming and said they’d send a code to let us into the building, but no code ever arrived. We called several times using the numbers online, in the email and for the contact at the hotel address, and left voicemails. A week later, we still haven’t heard back. Hotels.com eventually got us the code, but it took an hour, with our tired children crying while we waited. The whole thing was really unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We had a great room in a beautifully restored house, close to the clubhouse, where there’s a restaurant and bar.

The rooms are comfortable and very well appointed, and this place could have earned a high rating as a bed and breakfast. But there’s no front desk, and you’re sent a code 24 hours before check-in to access the parking and your room. The system works, though you need a computer or another device to get the code. Two of the three bathroom bulbs were burned out, and despite trying repeatedly, I couldn’t reach anyone to sort it out. I also couldn’t find out how breakfast was arranged. In the end, all five of us left without breakfast. The hotel lacks management.

I stayed in room 5, the last one, with my children, and we were all very comfortable. The atmosphere was pleasant, the beds were comfortable, and the very clean bathroom had a large shower and a bathtub 🛁. They also provided coffee and water when we arrived. A great experience!
