Hôtel Restaurant le Palais

We booked directly through the website late in the day and had no trouble getting a room. Ours was clean and quiet, and the staff were very helpful. It's a great little hotel in the old town, close to restaurants and shops. On Saturday the market is right at the door, taking over the whole town. Brilliant market.

The staff made the stay for me. I was welcomed so warmly, and that courtesy continued every day. The room was clean, tidied daily, nicely decorated, and had a very comfortable bed and a TV. There’s also a lovely children’s area by the breakfast room, where the Wi-Fi worked well enough for important emails. Saturday morning brings Apt’s famous Provençal market right outside the hotel, and there’s a wonderful delicatessen next door. It’s well placed for cycling and for hiking to Saignon, Rousillon, and Bonnieux, while a bus can take you to Avignon. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and a brilliant budget choice.

A lovely little room, very clean, and the hotelier was charming.

My room was roomy and comfortable, and the host was both friendly and really helpful. The hotel is right in the middle of Apt, and I had two good-value meals at the restaurant next door.
