Cosy, modern 2-bed with fireplace & beautiful views

We had a great stay as a family of five. The accommodation was clean, the views were gorgeous, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Skiing in and out was great, and I liked the wellness area too. The one downside was that ski rental wasn’t on site, and the rental company didn’t offer equipment delivery or pickup. Having that would have made the stay even better.

The location worked perfectly for us: quiet, with a lovely walk down to Foret & Forum. We often used the orange box lift since we ate out most nights. Reception staff were lovely, and the ski lockers made ski-in/ski-out convenient. We’d definitely stay here again if we return to Flaine. Our rear-facing one-bedroom apartment was a good fit for two adults and two teenagers. I’d worried about the view before we arrived because of the lower cost, but it looked out onto the ski-in/ski-out, so it was fine. The kitchen was really well equipped. The sofa bed was very comfy, while the double bed less so. We also loved the outdoor pool, which was the main reason we booked. We used the breakfast bakery delivery every day, and reception were a great help when we ordered a birthday cake for my son.

The mountain view was like a painting each morning, and the calm atmosphere made it easy to unwind. Our room was cozy and clean, and the staff were very helpful. They checked us in quickly, which made the arrival pleasant. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone after peace and beautiful scenery.

Management handled things really well after a terrible start. The next morning the apartment was fully serviced, we got a sincere apology and a refund for the first night, plus a bottle of wine. We’re planning to return next year. When we arrived late at night, the bedroom hadn’t been made up, and there was blood on the sheet and a pillow. No other apartments were available. The receptionist first offered to give us linen so we could make the bed ourselves, then relented and made it up. It was after 1am before we got to bed. Not much of a Premium experience.
