ibis Archamps Porte de Geneve

A convenient place to stay with dogs, and a good choice for an overnight stop. The hotel is clean, the staff are professional, and breakfast is very good.

The large car park has a secure barrier, and there was enough room to park and reverse with the trailer. The quiet, clean rooms did the job, though they’re small. I couldn’t fit a family of four in one, so I had to book two. There isn’t much space compared with a Premier Inn, but for one night it was fine.

The beds were comfortable and the AC worked, but the rooms are so small that what they call a room for two really suits one person. The internet was the worst I’ve ever seen, and I don’t think it was working at all. Breakfast choices were very limited, with only powdered scrambled eggs and a couple of kinds of ham. Room service didn’t empty the trash bins in time, so they were always full, and the bathroom always smelled awful. I stayed just three nights, but I won’t come back or recommend this hotel. Don’t choose it if you need reliable internet or are travelling with someone.
