After a 12-hour drive from the UK, we reached the campsite exhausted at 20:35. Our booking had been cancelled without warning, despite the emails we’d sent about arriving late. At 9pm, the manager turned us away and left us with nowhere to go. He was aggressive and very unpleasant. The whole encounter felt xenophobic and hostile, and I can’t understand why this “Man” Frederic works in hospitality. Worst French campsite experience in ten years of touring. Quite extraordinary. Brits should avoid.

The bungatent was pleasant, and there was a microwave, though the toilet paper was cheap. Service was blunt, and as tourists we didn’t feel welcome.

We were cycling through and found this a good spot to spend the night. It’s calm, with a lovely view, and the location is nice.

The view was amazing. It’s a quiet, nice place to rest after a long day on the bike.

A small family park with a pool and games room. Apart from those, it’s quiet.
