La Planque Hôtel

The hotel looks shabby and run down, nothing like the photos. My room’s carpet looked dirty, and the bed bug covers on all the bedding didn’t give me much confidence. The bathroom was basic and the towels were thin. It makes me wonder whether a lot of the reviews here are fake.

The location is great and the hotel was comfortable. My room was on the small side and rather dark, and could have used a few more lights and maybe a closet, but those were minor things. I’m only giving four stars because my very expensive foundation disappeared. I left it on the sink, and it was gone when I came back. I told the staff, who contacted the cleaners, but it was never really resolved and they didn’t offer much help. That was disappointing.

We found this lovely little hotel during a one-night stop in Paris while traveling by train. The personal service was great, and it was so easy to get around from there. I’d recommend it in every way.

A really lovely hotel in a peaceful area. The staff were as helpful and accommodating as could be. There was coffee and pastries waiting at reception, and they were happy to keep our bags on our last day. Highly recommend!
