We found a much cheaper campsite just around the corner, 45 euros compared with the 75 euros we paid here. The pitch itself was tiny and offered little privacy, and the whole place felt old and worn out. We had booked three nights, but when we asked for our money back within a few hours, they refused. After three weeks travelling in France, this was easily the worst site we stayed at. There are much better choices in cap Ferret. If you're arriving on the day, plenty of sites keep spots for walk-ins around 1pm, so don't book this one in a panic like we did.

The mobile homes are mostly new and nicely decorated, and the campsite is kept very clean and well maintained. It's run as a lovely family business, not far from the city centre and all the amenities. This is the only campsite in the area that takes guests for just one night or longer stays, while the others operate Saturday to Saturday. We'd happily recommend it for a few days or even a few weeks.

We discovered poo on the blanket we'd slept under that night. When we told reception, they took no responsibility, didn't apologise, and offered no way to put things right. Absolutely disgusting. The worst experience.

The showers were comfortable compared with other campsites, and the whole place was very clean. Staff were helpful and the prices were affordable. I'd come back.
