Insects got into the place because there are no mosquito nets on the doors or windows. The whole place smelled, felt old, and looked like it badly needed renovation. I've never stayed anywhere dirtier. Reception is only open for a few hours each day, so you have to plan your arrival carefully to avoid a long wait. If you're not ready to do a deep clean as soon as you arrive, I'd look for somewhere else.

We've been coming to nemea regularly for many years, but the whole site and accommodation have become neglected, apart from the parking area. The outdoor furniture was dirty, there was sand and dirt in the corners inside, and there weren't enough trolleys. The grass areas were also left untended, and there were no small bins around the site. There's plenty of competition nearby, so standards need to improve. We may not come back. I could list more.

Use this as a base for exploring the Atlantic coast or heading to Bordeaux, with the sea nearby. You can swim in the pool or set out along the coastline, and either way it's a lovely place to unwind and take a breath. Come and relax!

A nice spot for a holiday. The rooms were fine, though a little small. The pool felt a bit cold, but we were glad there was a teacher offering swimming lessons for 10 euros an hour.
